New Directions in Research on Close Relationships
This symposium presents new directions in close relationships research focusing on perceived social support, affection, positivity resonance, and physical proximity. Contributions feature diverse dyads (couples, friends, family caregivers and care recipients), methods (self-report, biomarkers, wearable devices), and study designs (experimental, dyadic interaction, momentary, and remote in-home assessments).
