Nonsuicidal Self-Injury in a Connected World: Understanding Self-Injury in a Social Context
This symposium examines the social context of nonsuicidal self-injury (NSSI). Together, these talks consider how and when social exposure to NSSI occurs, the impact of social media on people who self-injure, and the impact of discrimination and exclusion in people with a history of NSSI.
