Action Control: New Perspectives on Goal Pursuit
This symposium presents recent advances in understanding the determinants and moderators of goal pursuit, with a particular focus on action control, approach vs. avoidance goals, and action vs. state orientation. The presented research used different designs and measures highlighting behavioral and physiological processes.
