Emotional Mechanisms of Health Behavior Change: Implications for Theory and Practice
Emotional mechanisms of health behavior change are of rapidly growing interest in public health. Four talks offer cutting-edge examples of this approach, including theoretical foundations and empirical exemplars; common themes include potential roles of positive emotion and distinct emotion regulation strategies/tactics. Implications for behavioral interventions and future research are considered.
