Abstract
Maternal mental health symptoms can inhibit responsive parenting and are associated with poor child development. This relationship has been largely understudied in diverse, low-income populations. Our results suggest poor maternal mental health is associated with nonresponsive feeding styles, such as pressuring to eat and indulgent feeding in diverse, low-income families.
