Abstract
The current research aims to investigate how various emotional components during the processing of political misinformation, such as valence (e.g., positive vs. negative) and motivation (e.g., approach vs. withdraw) can interact with information’s ideological congruency with partisan bias and level of affective polarization to influence one’s gullibility to misinformation.
