Abstract
The present study investigates conflict initiation in romantic relationships by examining real-life interactions of 109 young adult couples. Utilizing linguistic analysis and physiological measurements, this research deciphers the impact of negative emotional tone and fundamental frequency (f0) on predicting conflicts an hour in advance.
