Repeated Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (rTMS) Reduces Treatment-Resistant Depression in a Community Healthcare Setting.

Repeated transcranial magnetic stimulation was administered to 46 clients to assess its effects on treatment resistant depression. A significant decrease was seen between pre- and post-treatment evaluations (t₄₅ = 3.078, p < .001), suggesting repeated transcranial magnetic stimulation may be an effective treatment option for clients with this disorder.
