Abstract

Exploratory serial mediations revealed that, among students engaging with farm-situated experiential learning, higher place attachment predicted higher sustainability meaning-making capacity, then higher environmental science literacy, and finally higher civic-mindedness. These findings contribute to the integration of psychological and environmental research and the renewed emphasis of civic development in higher education.
