Gesture Use in Autobiographical Memories

We explore whether gesture use supports autobiographical memory. Previously, participants were assigned to gesture-encouraged and gesture-spontaneous conditions, orally narrated autobiographical events. In this part, participants will complete both conditions. Narrations will be coded for gesture use and event details. We expect heightened gesture use will predict an enhanced autobiographical recollection.
