Parental Support and Rsa Reactivity during a Social Evaluative Stressor

This study examined the impact of parental support on youth parasympathetic nervous system reactivity to a laboratory stressor, as reflected in respiratory sinus arrhythmia (RSA). Results showed a significant positive association between parental support from the NRI scale and RSA in the group that prepared a speech with a parent.
