Abstract
This study examines the application of two network approaches to clinical symptom data: Network Psychometrics and LSIRM. Through simulation studies and empirical data analysis, it provides critical insights into the characteristics of each class of models. The conclusions guide clinicians in selecting statistical tools for more accurate psychological diagnostics.
