Abstract

This study validates the Children's Affective Lability Scale (CALS) in reflecting real-time emotional fluctuations in adolescents with Bipolar Disorders. Ecological Momentary Assessment (EMA) revealed positive correlations with CALS, especially in the Mania subscale, reinforcing the validity of affective lability as a clinical construct.
