How I Found My People: Unfamiliar Face Recognition Ability Is Associated with Social Network Composition

Abstract
We explored how face recognition predicts social network composition in young adults. We found that non-White participants with strong and those with weak White face recognition were likely to have important relationships with White individuals, and women with strong female face recognition were likely to have important relationships with women.
