Does the Smartphone Also Habitually Reduce Attention?

The study tested the relationship between problematic smartphone use (PSU) and cognitive performance. 90 subjects (59 women, 31 men) completed the TAB and MPPUS-10. Results showed negative correlations between PSU and divided attention. This is confirmed by multivariate methods. Thus, it shows that PSU could have negative effects on performance.
