Teleological Reasoning Among Afro-Colombians

Afro-descendants in the United States and Colombia share similar ancestry, culture, and heritage, including collective traumatic experiences such as slavery, racism, poverty, discrimination, and inequality. This project aims to understand how Afro-descendants in Colombia develop their beliefs and cognitions to seek purpose and reasoning for the aforementioned traumatic life experiences.
