Exploring the Effects of Distanced Self-Talk on Offender Apologies

I investigate the impact of distanced self-talk, a third-person reflection technique, on offender apologies following transgressions. Two studies, utilizing diverse methods and samples, will test my hypotheses. The first assesses effects on apology motivations for lab transgressions, while the second focuses on apology intentions and behaviors for recalled unresolved transgressions.
