Abstract

This study explores lexical organization in children with Down Syndrome (DS) compared to typically developing (TD) children. Results show higher clustering coefficients in DS lexicons, indicating more local structure than TD networks. DS networks seem to prioritize thematic relations over taxonomic ones, suggesting advantages in extracting contextual and functional properties.
