Pbs Norms Are Associated with Alcohol-Related Problems through Pbs Use Among Sexual and Gender Minority College Students

This study examined associations between protective behavioral strategies (PBS) norms, PBS use, and alcohol-related problems (ARPs) among SGM college student drinkers. Results suggest an association between PBS norms and ARPs through PBS use. Findings identify opportunities to leverage SGM-specific norms to develop effective normative-based alcohol interventions for SGM college students.
