Abstract
We investigated positive emotion transmission in sibling relationships using a 7-day ecological momentary assessment. Time-lagged multilevel modelling revealed that older siblings’ (Mage = 11.34 years) positive emotions on one day predicted an increase in their younger siblings (Mage = 9.25 years) positive emotions the following day, with no reciprocal effect.
