Psychosocial Experiences in the First Generation of Adults with Fanconi Anemia

We investigated the psychosocial experiences of adults with the rare disease Fanconi Anemia (FA) through 18 qualitative interviews in English and Spanish. Low points involved stigma and fertility, while high points included connecting with FAmily. Findings indicate the need to address the lack of available, knowledgeable mental health providers.
