Abstract

This study investigates potential biases in Student Evaluations of Teaching (SET) of instructors with Hispanic/Latinx ethnicity and accents through a brief audio lecture. We explore how accent and ethnicity effects SET scores, address current research gaps, and investigate how congruence between student and professor characteristics influences ratings.
