Who Run the World? Girls: Examining Critical Consciousness across Self-Reported Gender

Critical consciousness (CC) refers to the ability of marginalized people to interpret their socio-political conditions and actions against perceived inequities. There were 326 participants (Nfemale = 178, Nmale = 135). Using a MIMIC model, a measure of CC showed that gender only significantly impacted latent mean scores of perceived inequality.
