Abstract
This study investigates the impact of early adversity on social cognition and depressive symptoms in adolescents. Positive associations were found between childhood adversity and Theory of Mind (ToM). Regression analysis revealed an interaction effect on ToM, emphasizing the relationship between family experiences, social cognition, and mental health in non-clinical adolescents.
