Abstract
This NSF-funded study investigates the impact of students' perceptions of STEM professors' beliefs on course engagement and performance. Results from 355 students at 18 HBCUs demonstrated that perceptions of professor beliefs was a significant predictor of student course engagement and performance, shedding light on factors influencing minoritized students in STEM.
