Building Employee Well-Being and Resilience: The Impact of Support-Based Interventions

Abstract
Given that only 1 in 6 employees flourish at work, we designed support-based interventions to build employee well-being in 2 studies (n = 1,687). We find that 1) thank-you notes increase employee happiness and 2) higher-touch calls with CBT-based support decrease time taken to return to work for disability claimants.
