Abstract

The current study examined the impact of gender presentation on candidate competency and desire to hire. Participants were immersed in either stereoscopic (i.e., virtual reality) or non-stereoscopic (i.e., computer screen) environments. Results revealed there was no significant effect of pronoun presentation on candidate competency, or desire to hire.
