Abstract

Mood but not academic burnout was found to improve in undergraduates participating in an on-campus canine-assisted therapy intervention (CATI) and a control condition just prior to fall exams. CATI events may administer temporary ‘bumps’ to mood but not burnout which is certainly at ceiling level this time of year.
