Abstract
Theories of parent emotion socialization (ES) posit that the ways in which parents respond to their children’s emotions influence how children experience and regulate their emotions. We propose to use cutting-edge methods for analyzing between-family correlates and within-parent, real-time predictors of parent ES, across physiological and experienced emotion systems.
