Abstract
We developed a novel paradigm to explore shifts in affect after exposure to negative stimuli. The findings revealed significant reductions in positive affect for both groups, with an interaction effect for the depressed group, as indicated by F(1, 124) = 7.98, p = .006, partial η2 = .06.
