Abstract
‘Cringe’ humor videos have become increasingly popular and produce vicarious embarrassment. The present study investigated the physiological responses (heart rate, blushing, skin conductance, facial EMG) that correlate with watching embarrassing, or cringe, videos, and how these responses correlate to measures of embarrassment and empathy.
