Abstract
When assessing tradeoffs of time use in a representative birth cohort sample of 2,954 U.K. adolescents, screen time and sleep affected well-being the most. Screen time predicted worse well-being relative to sleep but not work. Therefore, the effect of any single activity should be considered in relation to others.
