Internalization of the Model Minority Myth in Asian Americans and Its Relation to Tolerance of Racism

For a sample of adult Asian respondents (M_age = 34), the association between their endorsement of internalized model minority myth attitudes and their endorsement of tolerance for racism sentiments was found to be mediated by their support for colorblind racial attitudes. Implications will be discussed.
