Abstract
The study assessed psychosocial mediators of the relationship between adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) and alcohol-related consequences among U.S. college students. The tested path model revealed a sequential mediation from ACEs to alcohol-related consequences through self-regulation and general depression. Social anxiety was also tested as a mediator but was not significant.
