Older Adult Increases in Goal Adjustment Protective in the Context of the COVID-19 Pandemic

Goal adjustment can protect older adults' well-being across chronic age-related stressors. However, little is known about GA in the context of daily stress such as COVID-19. Results from a 2-year longitudinal study show that increases in GA buffered increases in depressive symptoms and declines in daily satisfaction from pre-to-during pandemic.
