Abstract
P-technique factor analysis and vector autoregression (VAR) was conducted in a clinical sample of N=45 to assess affective predictors of behavioral avoidance. For some individuals, positive affect predicted significantly less behavioral avoidance and for others, negative affect predicted significantly more behavioral avoidance; no individual, however, showed significant evidence of both.
