Abstract
We conducted a systematic review to evaluate methods for promoting engagement with mental health services (engagement enhancement approaches [EEAs]). Data from 70 articles highlight the need for EEAs operating at systemic rather than individual levels, increased focus on prevalent psychological disorders, remote service delivery, and more rigorous research designs.
