A Tale of Two Systems: Adolescents’ Interactions with Health Services Show Moderate Associations with Community Engagement

The study employed psychometric network analysis to evaluate associations between youth’s community engagement, mental and physical health, and interactions with health services. Most notably, different forms of community engagement showed varying links to outcomes related to health services. These nuances should be considered in efforts to promote youth’s community involvement.
