Constraints and Creativity: Time Constraints Had No Effect but Material Constraints Increased Creativity

This study investigated the effects of constraints on creativity in Minecraft and found that although time constraints did not affect creativity, material constraints increased creativity. Moreover, the interaction between these two types of constraints suggested that the effects of material constraints depended on the presence of time constraints.
