How Do Occupations Differ across South Korea and the US:Investigations of Riasec Occupational Interest Profiles (OIPs)

This study explores the cross-cultural applicability of O*NET occupational data. Utilizing Holland's RIASEC model, we compared the occupational interest structures in Korea and US and examined how interests are assigned based on tasks. Our results showed cultural variations in assigning interests to occupations, which results in different occupational interest structures.
