Abstract
There are two conflicting theories about the influence of parental age on children’s intelligence: as age increases, parental education-experience increase (children become more intelligent), or the burden of mutations and disease increases (children become less intelligent). Results from various samples indicate a small positive correlation, especially with maternal age.
