Abstract
Violence is a significant public health concern. We examined whether functioning in reward and emotional systems modulate associations between depressive symptoms and violence perpetration. Depression symptoms correlated positively with violence, especially among individuals with blunted reward sensitivity. Emotional reactivity did not moderate links between depression and violence.
