Factors Influencing Satisfaction in Online Classes at Japanese Universities: The Importance of Easy Communication with Instructors

This study investigates the determinants of satisfaction in online classes, comparing freshmen, compelled to online learning from the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, with third-year students experienced in in-person classes. It highlights differing factors influencing satisfaction: new students prioritizing teacher relationships and upperclassmen focusing on the sense of participation engagement.
