Abstract

This study examined associations between prenatal maternal symptoms (anxiety, depression, stress) and parental self-efficacy, and the role of maternal postpartum sleep quality. Prenatal maternal symptoms were associated with worse postpartum sleep quality and parental self-efficacy. There was an indirect effect between maternal symptoms and parental self-efficacy via postpartum sleep quality.
