Abstract

We surveyed 376 college students about their chronotype, sleep patterns, and procrastination tendencies. We found that evening types showed higher procrastination tendencies. In addition, social jet lag, as measured by circadian misalignment, predicted chronic sleep reduction and these two variables partially mediated this relationship.
