Our pre-registered study investigates if motivation for active goral sex serves as a mate retention strategy for Mate Value (MV) Discrepancy in heterosexual men with lower MV than their partner. Results confirmed that partner-favoring MVpredicts increased active oral sex frequency, mediated by motivation to sexually satisfy the long-term partner.
