Abstract

Using the memory implantation paradigm, we examined if legally oriented false memories (attempted kidnapping, a "grooming" sleepover) could be implanted in an undergraduate sample (N = 73) across two interviews. When using Hyman and Billings' (198) coding, full + partial  false memories increased for the kidnapping, not for the sleepover.
