Abstract
We examined associations between mental health and the phenomenological quality of coming out narratives reported by transgender adults. Greater depression was associated with enhanced memory vividness and emotional intensity; suicidal ideation was associated with reduced coherence. These findings reveal important associations between mental health and memory phenomenology in transgender adults.
