Abstract

This study investigates the impact of the generative diagramming task on college students' causal reasoning ability, accounting for individual differences in Need for Cognition and Science Identity. Participants are randomly assigned to either a control or generative diagramming group and complete questions about individual differences and causal reasoning ability.
