Abstract
Linear regression models were employed to evaluate the relationship of adverse (ACEs) and positive childhood experiences (PCEs) with adult somatic symptom severity. Analyzing data from 287 women participants (Mage=38.6 (SD=10.74)), we observed a significant negative association between PCEs and somatic symptoms (B=-0.25, SE=0.06, p<.001), indicating a protective role in adulthood.
